Rhythm of Praise

It's a poem day! This poem was inspired by my pastor's sermon entitled, "Breathe." I will always be amazed that God talks to us if we be still and listen, so still we hear our breath and heartbeat created by Him:)

"Rhythm of Praise"

As I notice the beat of my heart
Rejoicing in who put it there
A new rhythm of praise starts to form
So grateful I am to declare...
He is Lord.

He is Lord. He is Lord. He is Lord.

He who made me, He calls me by name
In a whisper I lean close to hear
As my soul soon returns His sweet call
And responds, Father, Yes I am here
He is Lord.

He is Lord. He is Lord. He is Lord.

As He tells me His will so I know
How to please Him in every way
I then bow in humility's style
I fall to my knees and I say,
He is Lord.

He is Lord. He is Lord. He is Lord.

As I am quiet before God, and feel my heart beat, I am amazed to hear that still small voice. The more you and I listen, the more we hear.

Friends, have a wonderful Wednesday. I am praying for you:)ll always be amazed that God talks to us if we just be still and listen. He knows when we really want to hear and do His will 🙂
